Job Description

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager) environments across on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Deploy, upgrade, and manage patching solutions to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and up to date.
  • Manage and execute monthly patching cycles for Windows Server and Workstation environments, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption.
  • Design and maintain software distribution processes, including packaging, deployment, and updates of enterprise applications.
  • Create, configure, and maintain SCCM task sequences for Windows OS imaging and deployment.
  • Monitor system performance and patch compliance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Troubleshoot SCCM-related incidents and provide 2nd line support, coordinating with 3rd line teams where necessary.
  • Produce regular reporting on patching status, compliance levels, and deployment performance.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with ITIL-based processes (change, configuration, and release management).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field; a first-level degree combined with additional experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
  • Proven experience in administering complex SCCM environments, including both on-premises and cloud-based (Azure IaaS) infrastructures.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server and workstation administration in enterprise environments.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell for automation, configuration, and operational tasks.
  • Experience managing operating system updates and patching processes across distributed environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based processes, including change, configuration, and release management, and experience working with enterprise ticketing systems.
  • Practical experience with patch management tools such as HCL BigFix and PatchMyPC (for third-party application updates).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Proactive mindset with strong ownership, teamwork, and user-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
