Exciting Opportunity: Revenue Analyst at Overland Park, KS!
 
About the Role: Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a Revenue Analyst that will be responsible for implementing the strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization provided by the VP of Revenue. This role will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day system requirements and updates required to make HMC successful.
You will work closely with Sales, District Managers, and General Managers.

Primary Duties:
  • Review OTA and Brand websites for substandard content requirements, pictures, or inaccurate amenities/office hours
  • Assist in implementing nightly rate strategy and maintain proper inventory and sell limits
  • Review occupancy and reservations; identify any large pickups or booking irregularities
  • Identify rate irregularities and communicate with revenue team
  • Implement weekly rate decisions made by VP of Revenue and Regional Revenue Manager
  • Review all future reservations beyond 30 days out, including waitlist reservations
  • Review STR reports; Highlight any potential problems at the property level based on STR performance
  • Communicate with properties and DMs of any rate changes
  • Review rates for any parity issues that may need to be addressed
  • Review Arrivals and Departures for major shifts in market demand
  • Implement weekly rate decisions made by VP of Revenue and Regional Revenue Manager
  • Review all future reservations beyond 30 days out, including waitlist reservations
  • Review STR reports; Highlight any potential problems at the property level based on STR performance
  • Communicate with properties and DMs of any rate changes
  • Review rates for any parity issues that may need to be addressed
  • Review Arrivals and Departures for major shifts in market demand
  • Communicate directly with the sales manager counterpart regarding issues identified and needed follow ups for training
  • Support sales manager in RFP responses and group lead requests to be reviewed by the VP of Revenue
  • Ad hoc reporting and deep analysis of property performance
  • Create reporting improvements when necessary
  • Communicate with VP regarding any (current or projected) fluctuations in occupancy (+/-) that should be communicated to ownership
  • Maintain administrative access for Booking.com, Expedia, and PMS
  • Assist with New Open checklist, including setup of OTA pages, rate shopping tools, and marketing tools
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong Analytical Skills are a must
  • Great Communication skills, ability to talk with all levels or an organization
  • Strong-Excellent Excel skills
  • Programming Languages or Power BI using Insights
  • Computer Languages such as SQL, DAX, C# or equivalent types
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.  
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
