Regional Community Nurse Manager (Lead Nurse)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated nurse to join our team as a Regional Community Nurse Manager (Lead Nurse). This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to develop leadership skills or an established senior nurse seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

This varied role combines clinical practice, leadership, service development and quality improvement, offering the chance to make a real difference to both client outcomes and service growth.


About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, you will lead and support Nurse Case Managers across your region to ensure consistently safe, effective and person-centred care delivery.

You will hold a small caseload of complex clients while supporting the onboarding of new packages of care, delivering clinical training and ensuring high standards of governance are maintained.

Working closely with the Regional Care Manager and wider clinical team, you will contribute to continuous service improvement and support the development of skilled, well-matched care teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Nurse Case Managers within the region

  • Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care

  • Hold a small caseload of clients with complex clinical needs

  • Support assessment and onboarding of new clients

  • Deliver clinical training and competency support where required

  • Participate in Virtual Care Round reviews and follow up agreed actions

  • Support investigation and resolution of clinical issues or escalations

  • Contribute to the review and implementation of clinical policies and SOPs

  • Promote continuous improvement in quality, governance and client outcomes


Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC registration

  • Experience working within complex care

  • Clinical competency in Tracheostomy and Ventilation and/or Spinal care

  • Driver with ability to travel for client caseload

  • Previous senior or leadership experience desirable

  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Full UK driving licence preferred due to community visits
