Job Description

Intern with French, Claims Wroclaw, Poland As a valuable member of our Claim Operations team in Poland, you will support our global claims processing operations while developing practical experience in insurance claims management

Our team provides a unique learning environment, serving all AXA XL offices across multiple lines of business, including Property, Casualty, Professional, and Specialty products

Our claims team in Poland handles loss notifications (First Notice of Loss) from brokers and insured parties worldwide

As an intern, you will assist in setting up claims in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreements, working under the guidance of experienced team members

You will gain hands-on experience identifying claim loss details from initial notices and learn how our claims management systems operate

This internship offers exposure to various aspects of claims administration, including document processing, basic claim setup, and support with administrative tasks that contribute to the claims lifecycle

You will work alongside our team to understand how we process payments, maintain documentation, and make sure operational compliance

What you’ll be DOING What will your essential responsibilities include

Index and organize claims-related documents across various lines of business under supervision, learning accurate information management practices

Assist in setting up First Notice of Loss (FNOL) and incident-only claims within our claims management systems with guidance from senior team members

Support claims portfolio management by performing basic administrative tasks and learning portfolio oversight procedures

Maintain communication with onshore colleagues to fulfill incoming requests

Perform routine administrative tasks, including assisting with payment processing and report generation under direction

Learn and apply quality standards by reviewing claim files and identifying areas for improvement with feedback from experienced staff

Help maintain internal tracking systems and assist with preparing standard reports, with guidance from your team

Take part in team meetings and contribute to learning opportunities through collaboration with onshore teams

Meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards

You will report to local Manager

What you will BRING We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Fluency in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in French at a minimum B1 level is required

Organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to make sure accuracy in all tasks

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, would be advantageous

Basic data processing ability, with the capability to work accurately with information and follow structured procedures

Eagerness to learn about insurance claims processes and willingness to ask questions and seek guidance
