
Behavior Technician (ABA Therapy)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism or other developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans.
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in home, clinic, or community settings
- Collect and record data on observable client behavior
- Assist in the development of treatment goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the supervisory team to ensure client progress
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Background in social work, special education, or behavioral health is a plus
- Patient care experience is beneficial
* MUST BE AVAILABLE BETWEEN 12:00 PM AND 8:00 PM, WITH SHIFTS SCHEDULED FROM 12:00–4:00 PM OR 4:00–8:00 PM BASED ON OPERATIONAL NEEDS. *
• Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Weekends as needed
