Maintenance and Engineering Technician II

Keep Our Operations Running, Safely and Smoothly At Lineage, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation — including hands-on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support routine maintenance of facility infrastructure—lighting, plumbing, HVAC, dock doors, racking systems, and general building systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Freon refrigeration systems, upholding strict safety and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and facility control systems.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate updates to leadership.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• · Prior hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or building systems preferred.
• 2+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (Freon).
• Hands-on experience with freon refrigeration systems preferred.
• Universal EPA Certification required
• Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments (-20°F to 100°F).
• Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.
