ADVERTISING SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Job Description
- Generating revenue from new and existing accounts
- Working with Sr. Ad Sales Manager on pricing and planning to ensure that all ad inventory is sold and that pricing goals are met
- Developing or coordinating the development of sales presentations to clients and potential clients
- Proactively developing new business by meeting with customers, listening and assesses their needs, and providing customized, creative and successful marketing solutions which produce results
- Participating in negotiating pricing and advertising placement and content, and event concepts
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Advertising or related field, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of cable television products and services
Demonstrated ability to develop new business
Ability to sell value; ability to generate premium pricing
Ability to sell media to a large scope of diverse clients
Demonstrated ability to build and retain strong client relationships
Ability to meet and work within strict deadlines
Demonstrates enthusiasm, tenacity, and discipline in engaging in the daily sales activities
Self-starter; ability to work very independently, but also fit into a strong team environment
