Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Technology (OT) Technician III to support and maintain OT systems, infrastructure, and equipment across manufacturing and laboratory operations. This role ensures system reliability, security, and compliance while supporting user access management, troubleshooting, upgrades, and the integration of new systems.
The OT Technician III plays a hands‑on role in maintaining connectivity between systems, resolving technical issues, and partnering with IT and Engineering Automation to support stable, compliant operations.
About the Engineering Team
You will join an Engineering responsible for supporting systems that enable manufacturing and laboratory operations. The team partners closely with IT, Engineering, and Automation groups to ensure system performance, integration, and compliance in a regulated environment. Strong collaboration, responsiveness, and technical problem‑solving are key to success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage user access for OT systems, including provisioning, updates, and periodic access reviews.
Support security audits and ensure compliance with data integrity and access control requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with OT systems, including network communication across DCS, PLC, and SCADA platforms.
Maintain and perform software and hardware upgrades to ensure system functionality, security, and compliance.
Support deployment and integration of new systems and equipment into OT infrastructure.
Collaborate with IT and Engineering Automation to align with industry standards such as ISA‑95.
Document and track work activities in accordance with cGMP and data integrity practices.
Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and improvement initiatives.
Support on‑call rotation for after‑hours operational needs.
Technical Skills
Experience troubleshooting industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, MQTT, MODBUS, BACnet, Profibus, ControlNet, etc.).
Strong understanding of Ethernet networking concepts including VLANs, routing, firewalls, and access controls.
Familiarity with data systems and storage (SQL, JSON/XML, data historians, flat files).
Experience with Active Directory/LDAP and authentication methods (SAML, OAuth2).
Ability to support both modern and legacy OT systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of relevant OT, automation, or systems support experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing or laboratory systems.
Experience with Windows operating systems (server and enterprise environments).
Experience working with CMMS/EAM systems.
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain accurate technical and compliance documentation.
Preferred:
Experience in biopharmaceutical or cGMP environments.
Familiarity with equipment/system validation practices.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST).
ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or similar certification.

Compensation Range: $108,080 - $148,610
