Are you the kind of person who sees a slow or broken process and immediately starts thinking about how to improve or automate it? We’re looking for a proactive, solutions-oriented Workday Analyst who can own projects from concept to execution, partner across teams, and help drive the evolution of our HR technology landscape.

In this role, you’ll combine technical Workday expertise with strong business partnership skills to support and optimize key HR processes across the organization. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions, improve efficiency, and enhance the team member experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong hands-on Workday configuration experience who enjoys solving complex problems, managing priorities independently, and driving continuous improvement.

Location & Work Model

This position follows a hybrid work model based in Livonia, Michigan. Team members work onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day administration across Workday modules including HCM, Benefits, Talent, Learning, Payroll, and Peakon. Troubleshoot and resolve Workday issues and tickets with a focus on timely resolution and strong documentation
  • Review and process team member transactions including job changes, compensation updates, promotions, and terminations
  • Configure, test, and optimize Workday business processes, security, and system functionality to support evolving business needs
  • Develop and maintain Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports using Workday Report Writer
  • Configure and support annual HR cycles including Open Enrollment, Merit Planning, and Performance Reviews
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations using Workday Studio and Core Connectors
  • Create and manage EIB data loads for mass updates and system maintenance activities
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, IT, and vendors to support data integration, data integrity, and process improvements
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual or offline HR processes and transition them into Workday
  • Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and system procedures. Train and support internal HR team members on Workday functionality and best practices
  • Independently lead projects and enhancements from requirements gathering through deployment and post-production support

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience in an HRIS, Workday Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong expertise in Workday HCM, business processes, security, reporting, and EIBs
  • Experience building and maintaining Advanced and Matrix reports
  • Knowledge of Workday integrations, including Studio and/or Core Connectors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the initiative to take ownership and drive results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience supporting Workday modules such as Peakon, Help, Skills Cloud, Learning, or Payroll
  • Familiarity with Kronos/UKG timekeeping systems and related integrations
  • Experience supporting HR technology projects, implementations, or process transformation initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary range: $85,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus program.
