You will ensure programs are customer-focused, cost-effective, and aligned with regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

Role Overview

This position plays a key role in helping customers and market partners realize the benefits of energy efficiency, including improved affordability, enhanced building performance, and market transformation.

The Energy Efficiency Consultant (EEC) supports both retrofit and new construction programs by:

The EEC works closely with homeowners and contractors, to identify cost-effective weatherization measures and other efficiency opportunities. This includes promoting whole-home performance approaches, increasing customer adoption of recommended measures, and ensuring projects are completed to program standards. The role supports increased participation, enhanced customer experience, and improved energy savings while helping to transform the existing residential housing stock.

  • Build and maintain relationships with builders, developers, HERS raters, and trade allies
  • Track and manage project pipelines
  • Interpret and communicate program requirements, energy codes, and industry standards
