Job Description
Acts as the Buyer for the Materials departments under direction from the Materials Management Director. Assists the Director with minor daily issues, requests schedule adjustments when necessary, and exhibits a positive professional appearance to customers. Is an example of a Leader to staff and exhibits The Gritman Way. Performs all necessary functions to maintain optimum levels of stock inventory, assists departments with sourcing products, reviews GPO contracts, provides analytics for cost savings initiatives. Forms partnerships with internal and external customers. Provides key input for Materials Project Management and LEAN implementation.
