At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Welder/Fitter to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Power Bus Way Team in Mississauga, ON. The Welder/Fitter will be responsible for welding and fitting metal components per drawings to create finished structures or products. What Will You Do?- Interpret drawings to select pre-cut metal plate and sheet parts.- Operate a saw and cut bars, tubes, etc. to specific lengths and angles per drawings.- Take prepared metal components and fit together per drawings.- Set up and operate welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using various welding techniques, to complete the project.- Operate manual MIG & TIG welding machines- Finish welds (e.g. grinding, cleaning).- Inspect product to ensure it is structurally sound and...
