Job Description: Japan Country Finance and Accounting Supervisor
Country finance and accounting supervisor supervises all finance and accounting tasks in Japan, monitors team staffs’ work and provide them an adequate guidance and/or support when necessary. His or her main charters are described, but not limited to the description below.
In-Country Cost Management
- Country Business Plan (Ops)
- In-country cost variance analysis
- In-country Ops CPP/ In-country Contribution
- Cross function CSI initiative
- In-Country cost project
- Forecast of In-Country cost and managerial P&L
- REFCO on Cluster
- Fixed Asset
- Approval of payment, purchase order
In-Country Statutory & Support
- Local statutory book and filing support
- Country contact point
- Join BRCC as country lead in risk management
- Payroll
- Self-Assessment (Ops expense related)
- SOD Audit
- Working Fund
- Vendor maintenance
- Record Retention
Revenue Recovery
- Work with country Hub/Center on Revenue Recovery key measurement
- Site Audit
- Revenue Recovery opportunity
- Focal point to DWS vendor for maintenance and machine replacement
Requirement
- Solid understanding of IFRS and JGAAP
- Experience overseeing financial reporting, audit coordination, and compliance activities
- Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes (FP&A)
- Knowledge of cash flow and fund management
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for business stakeholders to support decision making
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a finance team
- Business-level fluency in English
This position will be engaged in any ad hoc project as F&A or country representative when necessary.
