Job Description

Overview Layout, fit, and assemble framework for refrigeration equipment. Responsibilities Build required framework using engineering drawings and application legends. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Measure and cut framework materials to precise specifications. Perform machine set-ups and form parts according to drawings. Weld joints and seams using proper welding techniques. Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, 4I, LDMS, ACPs, and RATs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and interpret application legends and technical drawings. Mechanical aptitude and knowledge preferred. Basic math skills required. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Prior welding experience required. Ability to use a protractor and dial caliper. Ability to apply significant torque using hand tools throughout the workday. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands. Physical Capabilities Based on Daily Work Schedule of 5 day work week, 8 - 10 hour shift: Walking: Up to 10 hours per shift. Standing: 8–10 hours per shift. Sitting: 0–3 hours per shift. Lifting: Up to 50 lbs. Carrying: Up to 50 lbs. Pushing/Pulling: Up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, climbing, squatting, twisting, and reaching. Occasional crawling.
