A role you will love
This role is responsible for leading end-to-end business readiness for a high-profile initiative to build and launch a new mobile app. The role will ensure the business is fully prepared to support go-live across regulatory, legal, operational and client-facing environments, bridging project delivery with successful operational adoption.
As the Business Readiness Senior Project Manager, you will lead the business readiness workstream for this strategically important launch. This is a hands-on role with significant visibility across the region, requiring close partnership with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Legal, Operations, Support and Client teams. You will drive readiness planning, governance, documentation, reporting and decision-making, ensuring the app can be launched smoothly, compliantly and with the right support model in place.
Own business readiness activities across regulatory, legal, operational and communications workstreams.
Accountable for local regulatory execution such as ICP and app registrations.
Define and manage go-live readiness criteria, ensuring all business, regulatory and operations conditions are met prior to release
Own and co-ordinate internal, client and participant communications deliverables
Ensure impacted teams understand changes to processes and responsibilities, supporting readiness of the targeting model
Own frontline readiness of our client facing teams.
Support transition to BAU, ensuring appropriate documentation, training and ownership is in place for ongoing operations, including ongoing app publishing and deployment.
Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Legal and senior management
Lead the workstream ensuring delivery against agreed schedules, milestones and objectives
Run project meetings, workshops and governance forums, ensuring clear communication and robust documentation
Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies, translating delivery risks into clear business impacts and enabling informed decision-making at senior governance forums
What will you bring to the role?
You’ll bring strong project management capability, a collaborative approach, and the confidence to deliver workstreams in a global, fast‑moving environment. You should be able to operate independently, make informed decisions, and build effective relationships across the business. Other key skills required for the role include:
Significant experience of managing or leading projects or workstreams, navigating regulatory or operational change environments
Experience delivering business readiness or change management activities
Strong commercial awareness and experience, ensuring project delivery supports the benefit case delivering complex or financial projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
High attention to detail, strong organisation, and the ability to work proactively and independently
Confidence working with ambiguity and using your initiative to solve problems
Proficiency in MS Office and standard Project Management tools
Proactive in exploring AI-enabled tools to improve individual productivity and project delivery outcomes
Chinese language skills are advantageous but not required
Desirable: experience delivering and deploying mobile apps or new products, including go-live readiness, stakeholder co-ordination, communication, training and transition into operational support
Desirable: experience in financial services, Asia region delivery and share plans, understanding of Computershare, Project Management qualifications (APM PMQ/PPQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent)
