Job Summary:
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager that will oversee and manage the maintenance and housekeeping team. This person will plan, schedule, and manage all maintenance activities and work to ensure the all workers meet Aluminum Precision Products’ expectations.
Job Requirements:
Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and facilities
Ensures all planned maintenance is performed in a timely manner
Work on upgrading or replacing old equipment for continuous improvement
Instructs and directs work activities of maintenance and housekeeping employees in assigned work area
Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluation
Work to ensure compliance with government agencies, (AQMD, OCHCA, OCSD, WQCB, etc.)
Ensure adherence to APP’s policies and procedures, including our code of conduct and ethics policy, product safety, employee safety and cultural beliefs
Strong and proven management and leadership skills are a must
Set the standard and support Aluminum Precision Products Cultural Beliefs
Support the Plant Manager in achieving the Key Results
Support Engineering on continuous improvement projects
Support EH&S to ensure safety of employees and equipment is paramount and environmental compliance is met
Support Quality department to ensure equipment meets quality demands of all products
Direct responsibility for the safety and performance of all maintenance contractors on site
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
Skill Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
High degree of technical knowledge in all areas of maintenance
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical industrial repair and maintenance PLC programming knowledge
Microsoft Office; Internet-based programs, E-mail, experience with an ERP system
English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehend)
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. This includes communication with vendors, management and employees
Able to read circuit diagrams and schematics
Intermediate to advanced math
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
Ability to weld with MIG and TIG highly desired

Compensation: $130,000 - $135,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
