Job Description
The Purchasing Manager leads all purchasing operations, including managing international suppliers, coordinating imported materials, ensuring Customs compliance, and maintaining accurate shipment timelines. This role drives material sourcing to support cost and value goals, ensures production material availability, monitors inventory levels and turns, and works closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues. Candidates should have 5+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, 2+ years of departmental leadership, and experience with importing. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
