Legal Counsel
Job Description
We’re looking for a versatile compliance/generalist lawyer to join our Legal Team as a Legal Counsel. If you are not easily scared by compliance sheets, get a kick from finding practical solutions to legal challenges, drafting contracts comes naturally to you and you can talk to non-legal people without them dozing off - we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for someone independent, proactive, diligent and comfortable navigating complex topics with focus and curiosity.
Daily Responsibilities
- Providing ongoing support to CD PROJEKT teams in the area of regulatory compliance (including consumer compliance and personal data protection).
- Analysing applicable regulations across various jurisdictions and helping shape our approach to compliance.
- Conducting required compliance assessments and analyses (including risk assessments, DPIAs, vendor assessments, etc.).
- Reviewing software terms and conditions (IT compliance reviews).
- Drafting and/or negotiating contracts related to CD PROJEKT’s operations (including IT contracts and service agreements).
- Cooperating with various teams across the CD PROJEKT group on compliance and risk management matters.
- Leading or supporting complex cross-company and/or international projects.
- Developing practical solutions that balance legal requirements, business needs, and company values.
- Coordinating with external law firms, including international counsel.
- Drafting internal policies and regulations.
- Conducting or supporting internal audits.
- Preparing and delivering training sessions for teams across the CD PROJEKT group.
- 3–6 years of experience as an in-house lawyer or at a reputable law firm.
- A degree in Polish law.
- Understanding of compliance matters in an international environment.
- Strong contract drafting skills.
- High level of integrity, diligence, and strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Creativity, open-mindedness, and eagerness to take on new challenges.
- An independent, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Fluent Polish and English, including legal terminology.
Nice to have

- Interest in the video game industry.
- Experience in conducting legal compliance assessments/risk assessments.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law.
- Legal advisor or advocate qualifications (or ongoing training).
Working mode
In-office in a hybrid (at least 3 days per week) or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland.

Estimated pay range for this position: 13 800 - 19 000 PLN gross monthly. Final offers are dependent on job-related factors like experience and qualifications.
