Job Description
Essential Functions: Cleans function rooms prior to set-up. Report any torn carpet, missing doorstoppers or burned out light bulbs. Set equipment to Daily Work Sheet specifications. Check with supervisor if information on worksheet is not clear. Provide required amenities, as dictated by Department Standards. Refresh meeting rooms per scheduled time. Clear foyer areas of equipment immediately after conclusion of function. Complete special projects as directed by department management. Works flexible hours including midnight shifts. Moves convention material boxes, programs, etc. from hotel receiving docks, registration areas, and meeting room to meeting room. Care for hotel / banquet equipment by writing work orders when deficiencies exist. Move equipment to various function rooms using basement path. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Accommodates special customer needs, hanging banners for meetings and food/beverage functions. Performs other duties as required by supervisor.Tools and Equipment: Tables, chairs, risers, cleaning supplies, and vacuum cleanerWorking Environment: Interior and exterior of hotel - front and back of house.
