Job Summary
The Warehouse Generalist Associate is responsible for monitoring and supporting the automated warehouse system to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations. This role involves identifying and resolving system faults, clearing conveyor jams, re-palletizing damaged or problem cases, and assisting with maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor the warehouse automation system to ensure optimal performance and identify equipment faults or operational issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues, including clearing jammed pallets from automated conveyor systems.
Re-palletize damaged or unstable product cases onto new pallets as needed.
Assist the Sanitation team by cleaning debris and spills resulting from equipment faults or product damage.
Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
Experience working with automated warehouse systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
Constant:
Standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, handling objects, and using visual and auditory skills.
Frequently lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 lbs.
Frequent:
Stooping, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling, and gripping.
Lifting and carrying items weighing between 20 and 60 lbs.
Occasional:
Sitting and climbing.
Pushing, pulling, and gripping items weighing less than 20 lbs.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and gripping items weighing more than 60 lbs.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a warehouse environment with temperatures typically ranging from 50°F to 80°F.
Employees will work around automated conveyor systems and warehouse equipment and are expected to follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
