The Opportunity:

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Delivery Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day recruiting operations for an assigned talent function while also managing a portfolio of high-priority searches. This role serves as a player-coach leader, providing direct recruiting support, team leadership, operational oversight, and recruiter development to help the organization attract and hire exceptional talent.

The Talent Acquisition Delivery Lead partners closely with hiring leaders, Human Resources, Compensation, Workforce Planning, and Talent Acquisition leadership to develop recruiting strategies, improve hiring outcomes, strengthen candidate and stakeholder experience, and support continuous improvement across recruiting operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

  • Manage team of 2-5 recruiters
  • Lead, coach, develop, and mentor a team of recruiters and recruiting support staff.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance discussions.
  • Establish clear expectations, priorities, and performance goals for team members.
  • Identify development opportunities and create growth plans to improve recruiter effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality service delivery.

Recruiting Operations and Process Management

  • Oversee daily recruiting operations and workflow management for assigned functional area.
  • Monitor recruiter workload, requisition assignment, candidate pipelines, and productivity metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring processes, policies, documentation requirements, and service level expectations.
  • Lead recruiting team meetings, pipeline reviews, calibration discussions, and hiring strategy sessions.
  • Escalate and remove hiring obstacles to ensure efficient movement through the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Support recruiting operations projects, including process improvement, reporting enhancements, technology adoption, workflow documentation, and cross-functional initiatives.

Full Lifecycle Recruiting

  • Manage a portfolio of high-priority, complex, hard-to-fill, executive, technical, or strategic searches.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring leaders to understand business needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, assess, interview, and recommend qualified candidates for consideration.
  • Facilitate interview processes, debrief sessions, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
  • Partner with hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process to ensure alignment and successful hiring outcomes.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders and senior leadership.
  • Provide labor market intelligence, competitive insights, compensation trends, and recruitment recommendations.
  • Influence hiring decisions through data, market expertise, and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Compensation, Workforce Planning, and Operations leaders.

Recruitment Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze recruiting performance metrics, including time to fill, hiring velocity, pipeline conversion rates, recruiter productivity, candidate experience, and source effectiveness.
  • Develop and present recruiting updates and dashboards to leadership.
  • Identify trends and recommend operational improvements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Five or more years of progressive Talent Acquisition, recruiting, or related experience.
  • Two or more years of leadership, mentoring, team lead, or supervisory experience.
  • Experience leading complex full lifecycle recruitment efforts.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive hiring decisions through consultation and data.

Preferred Qualifications

Executive Search Experience

  • Experience recruiting Director, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Executive level talent.
  • Experience supporting confidential and retained search engagements.

Technical Recruiting Experience

  • Experience recruiting software engineering, AI, product, data, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology leadership talent.
  • Familiarity with technical assessment methodologies and technology labor markets.
