The mission we are proposing:
Reporting to the Building Maintenance Supervisor, you will contribute to the general upkeep, cleanliness, and proper functioning of the site facilities. You will support the maintenance team with various tasks, including painting, outdoor grounds maintenance, cleaning and removing materials or stickers from surfaces, as well as general manual and building maintenance work. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, support various maintenance projects, and actively contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment.
An overview of your new position
• Perform various general building maintenance tasks to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.• Participate in outdoor site maintenance, including weed removal and maintaining the cleanliness of outdoor areas.• Carry out various simple manual tasks, such as painting, cleaning, or surface preparation based on operational needs.• Support the maintenance team in carrying out various building maintenance projects and tasks.• Remove stickers, residue, or other materials from floors and site surfaces to help maintain facilities in good condition.• Properly use tools and equipment provided while following established procedures and safety standards.• Respond to occasional building maintenance needs and report any situations requiring follow-up.• Collaborate with colleagues and different departments to support daily maintenance and site operations.
You are the ideal candidate if you have
• Minimum age: 16 years old (Parental signature required for students under 18)• Student available to work full-time during the summer• High school education in progress or completed• Comfortable with physical work (up to 45 lbs)• Ability to work in French or English• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
