We have an exciting opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join the Site Team at our Gourmet Food manufacturing site in Dandenong South. The plant makes one of the largest and diverse range of premium cracker products under one roof globally, our new state of the art production facility provides both the flexibility and scale to remain relevant with our important retail partners. Manufacturing brands such as Olina's Bakehouse, OB's Finest and Crispbic, Gourmet Food is fast becoming recognised as the ‘entertaining’ specialist.
You will assist the production operations in the Plant and delivering key
performance targets in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, organizational morale. You will ensure our manufacturing strategy is implemented and is fully effective and you will strive to build a high performing organization.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Manages change/ transformation change/ transformation amongst the Operating teams in the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma phase journey, AM-Autonomous Maintenance, PM-Progressive Maintenance model within operating Line teams. Role models Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of the team.
- Support the Manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals in line with the site Compelling business need.
- Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally. Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation.
- Support all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements (e.g. Corporate Quality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of conduct, Policies & principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and is regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
- Control the Maintenance Budget relating to yearly spends covering production equipment Spare parts and servicing , Facility servicing upgrades and repairs and GMP compliance
What you will bring

- Strong operational & manufacturing experience in FMCG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building
- An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of SAP system

- Focused on Time-Based Maintenance and Condition-Based Maintenance and continuous improvement of the maintenance task
- Review Planning of Preventative Maintenance standards & update for new Time-Based Maintenance and Condition-Based Maintenance
- Key Performance Indicators and Key Activity Indicators and data analysis for Time-Based Maintenance and Condition-Based Maintenance for maintenance and Daily Management System data update
- Coordination with Maintenance team lead and Operation team for schedule
- Ensuring schedule, tools, parts, and instructions are in place for effective execution
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance steps
- Review the executed Work Orders and update for improvement
- Master data management and update
- Preventive Maintenance Pillar Support and compliance
- Maintenance improvement project execution
- Overall planning based on budget
- Own Breakdown Analysis work process & related Key Activity Indicators and Key Performance Indicators
Education / Certifications:
- Engineering Degree or equivalent
Job Specific Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance.
Work schedule:
- Regular business Hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm on-site)
