Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY (On Site) Hours: M-F 9:30 am to 6 pm Salary: $166,400   Join a team that values your expertise with competitive benefits, a generous PTO plan, and dedicated financial assistance for your psychiatric license and DEA renewals.   OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES: Assess participants utilizing the Clinical Component, Provide medical services (medication assessment, lab work, prescriptions, etc.) Coordinate and collaborate with medical providers (primary care physicians, specialists, etc.), crisis assessment and management (behavioral and medical) Complete all required documentation Provide education to individuals, their families and other service providers, as well as to staff. QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES: Nurse Practitioner License Experience with adults in Mental Health field Minimum 1 year experience in an NPP role Available to work a flexible schedule a MUST Responsible for all documentation requirements per OMH regulations and agency policy Will have Collaborative Agreement with the Medical Director EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Minimum 2 years experience in this role     #nursepractitioner #behavioralhealth #hudsonvalleymentalhealth
