Food Services - Grill Worker

Job Summary: Prepares menu items including short order, working tickets, and preparing food in timely fashion. Acts as a resource for the Food Services department and builds effective, strong working relationships to enhance department operations and functions. Essential Duties Responsibilities: Provide support services to the department in a manner that professionally, cordially, and efficiently assists students, faculty, staff, and visitors Take orders and prepare food in a timely fashion Assist in other areas as requested Specific assignments are based on unit need and assigned by the supervisor which could include such things as adjusting recipes for serving amount, complete food preparation production sheets, clean up and sanitize conditions of assigned area, major cleaning of appliances, ensure proper storage and disposal of unused foods Work Setting: Expectation of on-campus presence with attendance and punctuality Promote personal safety, safety procedures, and a safe work environment Assist with call-back situations as called upon Employment at will Full-time status 12-month appointment Non-exempt About SWOSU: With locations in Weatherford, Yukon, Sayre, and online degree programs, SWOSU is one of the leading regional universities in the country.
