The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join us in Arlington, Virginia.
This position will serve as the Special Access Program (SAP) Policy specialist for the Boeing Enterprise Classified Security (ECS) Governance, Risk, and Compliance team and will provide expert level input to the development, implementation, and effectiveness assessment of Company policies in support of US government security requirements.
The position will engage with various SAP agencies to learn and understand new or changed policies, advocate for the Company's interests in those policies, research and develop proposed local policy implementation and ensure compliance across the Company's SAP portfolio.
The position requires an active US Top Secret security clearance as well as recent, extensive experience supporting SAP programs, engaging with USG SAP agencies, interpreting and applying SAP policy, writing local or other policy, as well as communicating with senior government or industry leaders on matters of national security. The successful candidate will have either active SAP access or current SAP eligibility under DOW auspice.
Position Responsibilities:
Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action
Conducts administrative inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
Develops, implements and administers security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or highly complex programs
Contributes to enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) and participates in the review cycle and decision-making process for enterprise export compliance, procedures (PROs), Business Process Instructions (BPI's) and Desktop Instructions (DI's)
Provides innovation and creativity into security awareness training and education program (briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
Completes tasks toward long-range goals and objectives
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have you been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
10+ years of experience in Industrial Security working as a CPSO/ACPSO on Special Access Programs (SAP)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in implementing and writing government policy

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $150,450 – $203,550
