Job Description
Select Chemistry’s Procurement Coordinator works within the Chemistry Strategic Sourcing group and supports North American procurement operations, the leadership team, and key stakeholders to provide, at the direction of the Procurement Manager, procurement support and coverage on national, regional, and local spend, ensuring competitive cost sourcing of quality goods and services. Ensures the most efficient and accurate processing and documentation of transactions, with the overall goal of minimizing the total cost of transactions without impacting service levels.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
Facilitate the acquisition process for goods and services.
Accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders but primarily MRO according to Select Chemistry's standard process.
Facilitate the transactional business relationship with key suppliers through supporting activities including ordering, communication of demand/ volume/ delivery time changes, issue resolution, sharing of end-user feedback, follow up on backorders, etc.
Develop an understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities.
Assist with contract execution and facilitate the administration of global/regional agreements as negotiated by senior sourcing personnel.
Foster supplier relationships that ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service and price performance standards of the company.
Works closely with Finance teams to expedite receiving and AP processes.
Serve as an escalation point to resolve invoicing and payment issues.
Contribute to the cost savings through process efficiency.
Other projects as assigned by senior sourcing personnel.
Expected travel is minimal.

This position works inside a climate-controlled environment. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.
Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
