Warehouse Associate

Lynden Logistics is looking for Warehouse Associates to support our freight operations team in Carson, CA. In this role, you’ll help handle inbound and outbound freight, ensure accurate documentation and cargo processing, and maintain safe and efficient warehouse operations to support our mission of keeping the world moving. This is a safety sensitive position.  Pay Range: $22-$24 per hour  Position Schedule: Mon-Fri 4 pm – 12:30 am with overtime/weekend availability as needed What you’ll be doing:  Verify piece counts, check in inbound/outbound freight, and accurately label shipments   Load and unload freight, containers, and pallets using forklifts and warehouse equipment   Weigh, reweigh, and dimensionalize freight to ensure accurate documentation  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and equipment   Use computer systems for data entry and processing related to freight movement   Follow all safety procedures, Hazmat protocols, and company cargo handling requirements   Collaborate with team members and internal partners to support efficient operations  Benefits you can look forward to:   Discretionary Bonus Program – Additional bonuses paid out depending on job and company performance  Healthcare – Medical, dental and vision plans with employee contributions as low as $5 for you and your family   Paid Time Off – 17 days paid time off, PTO days increase with years of service  Holidays – 6 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays   Retirement Plan – 401K with up to 50% of the first 6% contributed matched  Tuition Reimbursement Program - Up to 50% of educational expenses reimbursed after 1 year of service  Extras – Life Insurance, Health and Wellness Program, Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance, Long Term Disability Coverage and Employee Assistance Program at no cost to you!  To succeed in this role, you’ll need these skills:  Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately  Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment  Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Teams, etc.).   Previous experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks  Strong ability to read, write, speak, and actively listen in English  And these qualifications:   1-3 years of warehouse or cargo handling experience  Ability to lift and move freight up to 50 lbs on a regular basis   Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background screening, and TSA requirements  We personally review all candidates and promise to respond to all applications within 5 business days of applying.   Apply now and help us keep the world moving!
