Job Description
We are seeking a Risk Identification Analyst to join our team. As a member of our risk management department, you will gain insights into global capital management for regulatory and business purposes.
Firm Risk Management (FRM) is responsible for providing independent risk oversight across market, credit, operational, liquidity and other risk stripes to help protect the Firm from unwanted or unexpected risks. The Risk Identification team manages the quarterly process which helps identify material, new or emerging risks that inform risk measurement, monitoring and management, and the development of stress scenarios that reflect Firm-specific vulnerabilities. The Risk Identification team in Budapest is also responsible for agile project management to maintain and improve the Firm’s Risk Identification and Assessment platform. The Firm and the Team uses this platform to manage the aggregate portfolio risk and report this to senior committees on a quarterly basis. Regulatory submissions and responses prepared by our Team are critical to the ability of the Firm to continue operations. Responsibilities include the execution of work for routine deliverables, as well as pursuit of incremental improvements in the process.

What you'll do in the role:
Participate and coordinate quarterly risk identification reporting process for the Firm and US legal entities
Manage quarterly refresh of the risk taxonomy and risk inventory
- Manage governance of the risk identification process, including execution of review and challenge processes
- Monitor risk trends across all risk types and businesses, recognize and review new or emerging risks and analyze linkages between risks
- Prepare documentation and presentations to effectively communicate key information to senior management and regulators
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Lines of Business, Finance, Capital/Treasury, Market, Credit, Liquidity, Operational Risk departments, and country Risk Offices in New York, Budapest, London and Frankfurt
- Manage an IT agile project to improve the Firm’s global Risk Identification and Assessment platform from end-user perspective
- Liaise with Firm’s other Risk Management functions to understand requirements and improve integration with the platform
- Liaise with IT on matters related to development of the platform
- Perform status reporting, prioritization, and project sequencing
- Maintain key documentation related to the application
- Perform user acceptance testing
What you'll bring to the role:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics or similar
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize projects and workload
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint to produce executive-level materials
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
Strong analytical background with an understanding of risk management concepts
Motivation to learn and improve
Nice to have:
Experience in risk, banking or finance related role
Experience with large set of data and databases
