Job Description: Senior Developer (JAVA/J2EE)
TEKsystems Global Services has an opening for a Senior JAVA/J2EE developer to join a team that will working on enhancements to web-based client and internal business applications. This role will work with technical leadership to review, suggest, design and code critical back end / web services for this customer.

This role will best fit someone who embraces software engineering and will be able to help move the technology used by this team forward. The ideal candidate is a developer, part designer, someone that likes to work as part of a team and who can look at a problem and come up with different solutions using the best practices of software engineering.
Candidates will have strong technical skills as well excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Development experience in backend and web services development is preferred. Must understand how the services that they develop will be consumed by other development teams.

- EJB
- JSP
- Core Java / JDK
- DB2 or Oracle SQL Experience
- J2EE design
- WebSphere 5.0 and above
- Spring, Jersey
- RESTful Web Service Development / Design experience
- AWS deployment for web services, a plus

Experience working in multiple SDLC (Waterfall / Agile) a plus
