The Brand; The Courtyard by Marriott hotel Sandy Park, Exeter is a Hotel which opened in 2022 and is uniquely positioned next to the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Stadium with 250 bedrooms. Whether you are a rugby fan or not – this is destination for talent spotting 

The View; A completely unique roof top restaurant & bar venue offering locally sourced fresh produce in Exeter. Distinctly visible from far distances and is synonymous with the service experience provided, it features elegant and spacious seating in a contemporary design.

Kitchen & Bistro; Located on our 3rd floor, this more relaxed dining option caterers for the business guests all day and offers simple dishes using the best local ingredients Devon has offer. 

As well as our 2 culinary offerings, we cater for meetings and events whilst hosting elite sports teams, along with bespoke celebrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks to a high standard
• Create classic and innovative cocktails with excellent presentation and consistency 
• Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and making personalised drink recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar environment at all times 
• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately using the POS system
• Monitor and replenish stock levels, supporting stock control and ordering processes
• Verify customer identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in line with legal requirements
• Stay up to date with current beverage trends and contribute ideas to enhance the bar offering 
• Comply with all company policies, health & safety, and food hygiene standards
• Work collaboratively with the wider F&B team to ensure smooth and efficient service

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment preferred
• Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service standards 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for guest service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and reliability
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
