The Incoming Imaging Technologist is responsible for receiving, logging, preparing, loading, quality inspecting, and/or identifying/resolving incoming data issues for clinical data received by ICON as well as to support research, reconciliations, peer coverage, and/or other tasks as needed.
This position is responsible for completing the required tasks each day as well as providing training and mentoring to team members and new hires.
Job Description
- Maintain a positive, results-oriented work environment by building partnerships, modeling teamwork as well as communicating in an open, balanced, and objective manner.
- Verifying incoming documentation and data for adherence to acquisition recommendations and GCP/HIPAA violations and responding according to outlined procedures in a timely manner to rectify them.
- Identifying issues with received data and following internal processes to open, monitor, and resolve queries.
- May represent Incoming Data Processing in internal meetings.
- Managing and filing documentation associated with projects.
- Notifying project specific sites, customers, and internal staff with data concerns in accordance to the Site Operations Guide.
- Providing when necessary technical support to Operations.
- May work on special projects or other responsibilities as assigned.
- Compliance with internal SOPs
Education: Radiologic Technology (e.g. CT, MRI, cMRI), or equivalent experience in Medical Imaging
Relevant Work Experience: One to two years in a clinical research environment preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Current membership in ASRT, ARRT, or other radiologic professional certification preferred
Knowledge/Abilities –Technical Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and following established procedures.
- Intermediate MS office (including Word and Excel) experience required.
- General knowledge of applicable regulations including Good Clinical Practice.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology systems and tools
- Communication Skills (Verbal/Written): Clear and concise written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization.
- Customer Service: Provide an excellent experience to both internal and external customers by focusing on their needs, priorities, and concerns, ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
Other:
- Self-starter with a collaborative and enthusiastic disposition.
- Must be highly organized and motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
