Job Description
The Sr. Product Manager, Global Marketing will lead strategic upstream marketing initiatives across the Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) capital systems portfolio. This role will drive platform strategy, voice-of-customer (VOC) activities, roadmap development, business case creation, and global commercialization planning for patient monitoring solutions used in acute care environments including ICU, CCU, OR, Cath Lab, PICU, and Med-Surg.
This position will operate as a strategic business leader within a highly matrixed global organization and partner closely with R&D, engineering, clinical, commercial, and regional stakeholders to shape future platform direction across hardware, software, connectivity, and digital ecosystem initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead development and execution of upstream marketing strategy across the Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) capital systems portfolio.
Own strategic roadmap planning activities across hardware, software, connectivity, interoperability, and digital ecosystem initiatives supporting acute care patient monitoring environments.
Drive Voice of Customer (VOC) strategy and customer discovery efforts to identify unmet clinical, operational, workflow, and economic needs across ICU, CCU, OR, Cath Lab, PICU, and Med-Surg settings.
Translate customer, market, competitive, clinical, and business insights into product concepts, platform strategies, product requirements, and long-range portfolio recommendations.
Partner closely with R&D, systems engineering, software engineering, clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure alignment between customer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
Influence new product development strategy including concept evaluation, product definition, feature prioritization, usability considerations, and platform evolution planning.
Lead development of business cases, market models, financial analyses, pricing recommendations, portfolio strategies, and commercialization assessments supporting investment and prioritization decisions.
Support and influence software, connectivity, interoperability, cybersecurity, and digital health ecosystem strategy initiatives aligned to future patient monitoring workflows.
Conduct market analysis including competitive intelligence, market sizing, segmentation, customer workflow evaluation, and emerging technology assessment.
Partner with downstream marketing, sales enablement, and regional commercial teams to support global launch readiness, market adoption strategies, customer messaging, and commercial execution planning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital administrators, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and strategic customer stakeholders globally.
Represent the business externally through advisory boards, customer visits, conferences, congresses, and market development activities.
Influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership within a highly matrixed global organization.
Contribute to development and continuous improvement of upstream marketing processes, strategic planning rigor, and portfolio governance practices.
Located onsite, not a remote position.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
8–12+ years of progressive experience in product management, upstream marketing, strategic marketing, or related commercial leadership roles within medical devices, healthcare technology, patient monitoring, capital equipment, or connected care environments.
Demonstrated experience leading upstream marketing initiatives including Voice of Customer (VOC), roadmap development, product definition, business case creation, and strategic portfolio planning.
Experience supporting complex capital systems, platform-based healthcare technologies, or integrated hardware/software ecosystems.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and operate effectively within highly matrixed global organizations.
Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate customer, market, and competitive insights into business strategy and product direction.
Excellent communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills.

Salary Range Information
$115,000.00 - $183,900.00 USD Annual
