Summary of Primary Responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one and small‑group tutoring to students to support academic skill development in core subject areas such as reading, writing, and math
- Reinforce teacher‑provided instruction and learning objectives through guided practice, skill review, and homework support
- Encourage positive study habits, academic confidence, and student engagement in learning activities
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and program supervisors to support student learning goals and align tutoring efforts with classroom instruction
- Communicate appropriately with students and, when applicable, families to support academic progress and participation
- Maintain basic records related to tutoring sessions, including attendance and student progress, as required for program accountability
- Follow all school district and organizational policies related to student safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct
