We’re currently looking for an experienced Asphalt Foreman to join our Darwin-based surfacing team. If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values safety, and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes, this is your opportunity to step into a key role within a well-established crew.
About the role
Reporting to the Asphalt Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating daily asphalt operations across Darwin. You’ll lead crews on the ground, support site delivery, and help drive productivity, safety, and quality across all works.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in asphalt, civil construction, or road maintenance
- Strong practical knowledge of asphalt paving, preparation, and compaction
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate crews onsite
- Current White Card (essential)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts, including weekends
- Strong commitment to safety and a Zero Harm culture
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills
Highly regarded: - Traffic management experience
- HR or MR Licence
- Plant tickets or asphalt equipment operating experience
- First Aid certification
- Experience with QA documentation (ITPs, ITRCs, daily reporting)
- Experience on government road maintenance contracts
