Product Marketing Leader
Job Description
This is an opportunity to be the first marketing hire at a VC funded startup with ambitions to change the world. We're looking for a self-starter to stand up marketing and sales processes.
- Develop high-level funnel strategy to guide inbound leads from interest to sale
- Implement relevant 3rd party software to effectively manage and track customer metrics
- Create effective sales and marketing material to help users understand the product and it's USPs
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for successful B2B marketing activities and campaigns
- Plan and execute community engagement strategy including forums and social media
- Work closely with sales and technical support to guide a smooth customer journey
- Assist with branding and PR activities
- Effectively communicate with engineering, product, sales, and executive team in order to achieve goals
- Equity options available
Position is remote, but PST time zone preferred.
- Minimum 3-4 years of professional B2B marketing experience, preferably focused on developer tools and/or open-source projects
- You are familiar with agile organizations and excellent at leading projects and stakeholders
- You yourself have stood up, or been close to a leader who has stood up, a B2B marketing organization
- You are metrics driven and speak fluent nerd
- As a person you are ambitious yet unpretentious with a “can do attitude”
