Job Description
Job Summary
Lead production strategy and operations for chain and fittings manufacturing, ensuring alignment with business, safety, and quality objectives. Oversee multiple teams and processes, including forging, machining, and finishing. Drive continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and production excellence.
Essential Job Functions*
Develop and execute production strategies for metal forming and finishing operations.
Oversee supervisors and multiple production teams.
Monitor KPIs such as OEE, output, scrap, and cost efficiency.
Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and product performance standards.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
Partner with engineering on process and equipment upgrades.
Drive improvements in material utilization and cost control.
Oversee training and leadership development programs.
Manage high-impact production challenges and risks.
Ensure customer requirements and delivery commitments are met.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field preferred.
8+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience.
2+ years of management experience.

Advanced knowledge of chain and fittings manufacturing processes required to lead complex operations.
Ability to lead leaders and develop teams across multiple operational areas.
Skill in analyzing operational and financial performance to guide strategy.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and cost reduction.
Ability to manage large-scale operations, including multiple processes and shifts.
Ability to influence cross-functional partners to align production with business goals.
Ability to drive organizational change while maintaining safety and performance standards.

Work Environment
Packaging - Material Handler: Self-paced, 8 hr shifts. May be exposed to fumes, loud noises, and extreme temperatures infrequently. Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required.
Physical Demands
Packaging - Material Handler: Heavy, lifting up to 85 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 280 lbs.
