We’re looking for our next Junior, IT Systems Administrator. Could It Be You?
The purpose of the Junior IT Systems Administrator is to assist in managing, maintaining, monitoring, and operating IT and Cloud Infrastructure under the guidance of senior team members.
The Junior IT Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the monitoring, provisioning, configuration and operation of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure in heterogeneous environments (Linux and Windows systems). The individual helps ensure that system hardware, operating systems, network and applications are aligned to corporate policies, procedures and best practices with a focus on documentation and system availability.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with support and maintenance for Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and Windows (2016+) server systems using tools like Satellite, SCCM, Jenkins, Salt, Ansible and other automation tools.
Assist with supporting and maintaining Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, replication and other Windows Technologies.
Create and maintain project and procedure documentation.
Participate in an occasional after hours and weekend activities includes performing server. maintenance/updates and providing technical supports, with guidance from senior team members
So are YOU our next Junior, IT Systems Administrator? You are if you…
2+ years of experience in a server/systems environment with exposure to Linux, Windows and/or VMware ESXi.
Basic hands-on experience with at least one Cloud provider (Google preferred).
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
Basic networking knowledge (OSI Layers, common protocols).
Good documentation and communication skills.
Eager to learn new skills and develop new techniques.
Strong attention to detail with solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to follow procedures and policies effectively.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
GCP,AWS, Azure certification or experience is an asset.
