What is the opportunity?
Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division.
Corporate Treasury is a critical function within GFT and responsible for managing RBCs financial risks, liquidity, and capital measurement. We believe that innovation should drive all that we do, in challenging assumptions and being big and bold with our ideas. We support our people in developing the technical, business, and professional skills needed to be successful. You will collaborate with partners from across the company, participate in networking events, and have access to a wide variety of supports including mentorship. You will collaborate directly with leaders who believe in celebrating successes and sharing learnings with other teams to promote progress.
What will you do?
Lead the AI-driven transformation of capital adequacy and liquidity coverage ratio (LCR/NSFR) reporting processes
Develop advanced analytics solutions to optimize capital allocation, stress testing, and scenario analysis
Enhance regulatory reporting through AI-powered data validation, anomaly detection, and forecasting models
Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure compliance with Basel III/IV requirements and OSFI guidelines
Create predictive models to anticipate capital and liquidity needs under various market conditions
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
10+ years in financial analysis, capital management, liquidity management, or regulatory reporting roles
5+ years direct experience with capital adequacy reporting (Basel III/IV), stress testing, or liquidity coverage ratios (LCR/NSFR)
5+ years in leadership or team management roles, preferably in finance or risk functions
Proven track record of translating data insights into business value and measurable outcomes in finance
Nice-to-have
Demonstrated experience with AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics projects in financial services
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
Experience leading large regulatory reporting teams in complex environment
Experience in large-scale, global financial services, familiarity with regulatory and model risk frameworks, or equivalent experience running successful products and services.
Able to communicate with other technical teams to help promote emerging technologies.
