GENERAL SUMMARY 

The Kitchen Expeditor is responsible for ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered promptly and accurately. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring that the timing, quality, and presentation of food meet the restaurant's standards.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS  

  • Order Coordination: Receive food orders from servers and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff. Ensure that orders are completed in the correct sequence and on time. Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all menu items. Including preparation and presentation 
  • Quality Control: Inspect dishes before they are served to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards for presentation, portion size, and temperature, 
  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring clear and efficient communication to avoid delays and mistakes, 
  • Timing Management: Monitor the progress of orders and expedite the preparation process to ensure timely delivery of dishes, 
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the food preparation and delivery process, such as incorrect orders, delays, or special dietary needs. 
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations. 
  • Team Support: Assist kitchen staff as needed, including during peak times, and ensure a cooperative and efficient work environment. Must be willing to work as a team player with all Club staff. Remain up to date on upcoming Club events.
