Licensed Clinical Social Worker

The GEC Social Worker is a fully licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and does not require any supervision to perform clinical duties. The GEC Social Worker will be a member of the Special Education Team and have a caseload of students across the LEA (who attend one of the two GEC sites) with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan and require social worker services. Additionally, the GEC Social Worker will led and implement student wellness activities across the LEA, professional development sessions to the GEC staff, and support on many key social emotional initiatives at the LEA.
