(Senior) Actuarial Analyst (IFRS17 Reporting)
Job Description
Responsibilities: Support IFRS valuation including earning and CSM under IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 Analyze financial results and provide meaningful conclusions during reporting and forecasts Perform end-to-end model runs from model set-up to results checking to ensure they are in line with specified methodology and assumptions and meet the required standard/guideline Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods, modelling, process and financial results Support ad-hoc/project-based analysis to support the business units in making business decisions Collaborate with other valuation team on both reporting process and ad-hoc analysis Guide junior team members in handling valuation tasks Support process improvement and automation initiatives Qualifications: University graduate in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines At least 3 years' experience in life insurance industry
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Actuarial Analyst Able to work independently as well as a good team player Strong ability to organize and detail oriented Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, able to work under pressure Good command of business English, both in written and spoken form Experienced in Prophet would be a plus About AXA Hong Kong and Macau AXA Hong Kong and Macau is a member of the AXA Group, a leading global insurer with presence in 52 markets and serving 92 million customers worldwide
