Job Description

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, child-focused environment alongside our experienced chef.

Job type: Permanent Contract
Working Hours: 8am - 3.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Role Responsibilities

Description:
  • Preparation of fresh fruit and snacks for children
  • Assisting with the serving and dishing up of meals
  • Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
  • Supporting the chef with day-to-day kitchen duties
  • Transporting meals to our Beacon Southquarter location
  • Ensuring strict awareness and management of food allergies

Required Qualifications

Requirements: 
  • Full, clean driving licence (essential)
  • Comfortable driving a van (vehicle provided)
  • Strong attention to hygiene and food safety standards
  • Good awareness of allergies and safe food handling practices
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
  • Reliable, organised, and proactive
