- Provide facial services to guests using props and/or products.
- Provide Yoga and Energy work body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps.
- Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification process.
- Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before beginning service.
- Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns.
- Be flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of the spa.
- Monitor and adhere to time schedule throughout the day.
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product as indicated on service protocols to assist with cost controls.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
- Perform prep work, properly clean and restock rooms as required.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guest incidents that require attention.
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail. Promote programs, promotions and discounts available.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
- Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
- Maintain current license in service area.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: State of Texas Massage Therapy License and State of Texas Cosmetology Esthetician License . Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Spends majority of time indoors. Bi-level structures. Extensive facility. Indoor: temperature controlled, clean, and well-lighted offices, guest rooms, and public areas. Moderate exposure to hazardous substances and fumes. Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Repetitive motion activities. Coordinate multiple tasks. Ability to maintain physical strength. Healthy, positive, concise mindset.
