Join Our Team as Indirect Commodity Buyer!
Role Overview:
Responsible for EMEA purchasing of MRO commodities (~$20M spend), driving cost savings and supplier strategy. Manages tenders, RFQs, bid evaluation, and eAuctions, while working closely with plants and global teams to support AOP/STRAP. Also responsible for working capital improvements and contract management.
What you`ll do:
Sourcing process management:
Responsible for the Purchasing of MROcommodity. Will prepare the tender, RFQs, evaluates the bids and cost comparison analyse. Will identify and drive savings opportunities according company goals, consumption reduction and value engineering projects through negotiation; Conducts eAuctions; Working capital improvement and Contract managment
Responsible for E2E process, including PO creation, invoice resolution, Coupa support
Develop and deploy Global strategies of the commodities in line with company requirements.
Work closely with Plant & global functions for implementation of AOP, to meet internal steakholder objectives like timing, cost and strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies to evaluate areas of opportunities to reduce costs; Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.
Supplier scorecard - Manage supplier performance activity, propose improvements.
What we need:
Bachelor Degree
Minimum 3 years in Purchasing with experience in complex supplier negotiations including preparing and administering Long Term Agreements
Fluent in English
Very well skilled with MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Word.
Technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing
Planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated and capable of working with tight deadlines
Good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize
Problem Solving skills
