Job Description

At MJH Life Sciences our success is measured by your success! If you set your standards high and want to contribute to a winning team, we’ll provide you with every opportunity to help grow our company and your career. Our associates come from all backgrounds, sharing one key quality: determination to succeed. We value being Service Focused, having a Passion for Winning, Innovation, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork. Nothing means more to us than hiring people with these attributes. If you believe you’re right for the job, this is the place to prove it!

We are seeking an Associate Marketing Director to play a key leadership role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth, brand awareness, and audience engagement. You will partner cross-functionally with sales, product, and editorial teams to lead integrated campaigns, ensure consistent brand messaging, and deliver measurable results across multiple platforms and channels. This role is for a strategic marketing leader who takes ownership of outcomes, makes data-driven decisions, and leverages AI as a core part of how they plan, execute, and continuously improve.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to achieve business growth, audience engagement, and brand awareness goals
  • Use AI tools to accelerate market research, competitive analysis, content development, campaign optimization, and performance reporting — embedding AI-native practices across the marketing function
  • Partner with sales and product teams to develop marketing strategies that drive lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth
  • Identify market trends, audience insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions and sharpen positioning across campaigns and channels
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, and email, ensuring programs are data-driven, on-brand, and continuously optimized
  • Manage the development of creative assets, messaging, and content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines across all touchpoints
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights that improve future strategy and execution
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear accountability for ROI
  • Mentor and develop marketing team members, providing guidance, setting high expectations, and fostering a culture of growth and performance
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align marketing activities with organizational objectives
  • Represent the marketing function in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions, serving as a credible and influential voice for the team

What Sets You Apart

  • 7 or more years of progressive marketing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role and a proven track record of delivering integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
  • An AI-native mindset. You actively use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or AI-powered marketing platforms to improve how you research, plan, create, and optimize — and you actively build these practices into how your team operates
  • Strong digital marketing expertise including social media, SEO and SEM, email marketing, and analytics platforms
  • Proven ability to analyze campaign data, interpret audience and market insights, and make confident, data-driven decisions
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional relationships and influencing at multiple levels of the organization
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and delivering programs on time and within scope in a fast-paced environment
  • A builder and a standard-setter — you create clarity, raise the bar for your team, and hold yourself accountable for outcomes
  • Life sciences, healthcare, or B2B media experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred

AI Capability Expectation

Candidates should be prepared to discuss how they are currently leveraging AI in their marketing leadership work. This includes:

  • Specific tools in active use and how they are integrated into campaign planning, content development, competitive research, or performance analysis
  • How AI has improved the speed, quality, or scale of marketing output at the team or function level
  • Approach to evaluating, adopting, and embedding new AI tools across a marketing team
  • Bonus: examples of AI-driven marketing programs, workflows, or organizational changes that improved campaign performance or team efficiency

Compensation Range

$80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. Compensation will depend on factors including educational background, skills, and professional experience.
