Overview

Are you ready to make a difference as a Personal Banker (Member Solutions Specialist) and elevate our members’ experience by delivering exceptional service? This exciting opportunity empowers you to maximize member engagement by providing a range of product options

You will directly assist members in opening new accounts, offering credit card products, Money Market/CD accounts, consumer loans, and mortgage loans

Responsibilities

  • Offer best-in-class service to our members through prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional interactions.   
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in our products and services offerings, new accounts, and consumer lending processes.   
  • Assist members with complex financial transactions and accounts and ensure their needs are met through proactive follow-up and resolution.   
  • Build our members' financial health through conducting thorough consumer loans, home loans, and new account interviews using available tools to uncover financial needs and submit applications as needed.   
  • Advise our members in the areas of debt management, credit advancement, mortgages, and overall financial well-being.   
  • Engage members in an in-depth financial health evaluation using available tools to recommend and open appropriate products and services.   
  • Support community relationships on an as-needed basis   
  • Adopt new and existing tools that will enhance the member experience and consultation process.   
  • Advocate member adoption of new technology, campaigns, promotions, and digital products.   
  • Partner with our internal experts to recommend products and services to our members so they can achieve financial freedom.   
  • Be a resource to train new and existing team members as needed   
  • Understand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and procedures.   
  • Assess risk associated with your business processes and identifying control deficiencies to drive the company compliance and risk mindset and business performance.

  • Other duties as assigned.   

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience as a teller and personal banker
