
Associate Director
Job Description
Leading the design, development, and production of building services systems. Oversee the design and drawing of building services systems.
Lead quality assurance and quality control on technical delivery of projects
Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with regional and national regulations.
Plan and coordinate engineering and BIM resources across projects
Contribute to project and design management within the team’s scope
Lead and manage quality checking of designs, drawings and deliverables
Step into technical delivery as needed to support resourcing requirements
Provide input to man‑hour estimates, cost tracking, and proposal development
Maintain a strong client‑centric mindset in working with our Australian counterparts
Build effective relationships with stakeholders across Australia offices and the wider global business(as required)
Support expectation management and issue resolution as required
Monitor project utilisation against team targets
Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to the development of the office against defined strategic goals
Contribute to growth and performance appraisal of people within the region
Assist and contribute in the developing 3 year strategic plans for the region to include market and people development
Assist in analysing the financial and non-financial performance of the region
High level, innovative and strategic contribution to projects
Represent and promote the business with the lead countries
Be active in representing the company through target industry organisations
Participate in the performance appraisal of direct reports
Approve offers and execute contracts to the limit delegated by the Office Manager or his delegate
Approve expenditure and creditor payments to the limit delegated by the Office Manager or his delegate
Approve recruitment/promotion/dismissals at all levels below your direct reports.
Serve on Committee and Working Groups as invited.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies for those areas of the business which you are responsible
Assist in the delivery of staff and market surveys
Participate in office and/or region management/executive meetings and annual office and/or region strategic retreats as requested.
Apply legislations, standards, guidelines and project specifications.
Assist in developing annual remuneration review recommendations as required
Other duties as directed, to help company provide outstanding to it's customer.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science or Equivalent
May also have Master’s or PhD
Professional Chartership/registration within jurisdiction
Experience, skills and organisational knowledge
