- Perform high‑quality radiologic exams following established protocols and radiology practice standards.
- Masterfully operate all X‑ray equipment and ensure every exam is crisp, accurate, and timely.
- Collaborate with Radiologists
- Review images and highlight key anatomical details or abnormalities.
- Navigate PACS/RIS with confidence and efficiency.
- Apply radiation safety practices like a pro — protecting patients, colleagues, and yourself.

- Assist physicians with contrast media delivery safely and accurately.
- Recognize urgent or life‑threatening situations and act swiftly as part of the care team.

- Record procedures, supplies, and patient information with precision.
- Ensure all images are properly labeled and documented according to department standards.

Must Haves
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: 2 years of Xray experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Required: Basic Life Support HeartSaver & First Aid through the American Heart Association
- Required: Licensed Radiology Technician through the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.
- Required: Radiography Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of general and anatomy and physiology, Radiation properties of x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment, etc.
- General medical terminology knowledge and ability to administer Basic Life Support.
- Knowledge of state laws regarding licensure.
- Ability to properly place monitoring devices on patients, position patients on table and use manual dexterity to properly position camera head.
- Ability to utilize basic computer and data entry skills.

- Medium: Medium physical requirements- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
