Job Description
Mercer County Head Start has an immediate opening for a Head Teacher.
This candidate should be a committed, student-centered individual to assist the classroom teacher in providing a successful, safe, and supervised educational setting for children while promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. As well as, connecting with the family which will support the Head Start philosophy.
Requirements:
- Must possess a minimum of CDA or AA in Early Childhood ED or related field / High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Obtain Safe Serve Certification within one year of hire
- Must complete and pass five (5) background checks prescribed by ODJFS
